What we collect:

For each visitor to our Web site, our Web server logs IP addresses, referring addresses and automatically recognizes cookies stored by the user's browser. The cookies we use contain unique identifiers.

We collect the domain name, IP address and e-mail address (where possible) of visitors to our Web pages, the IP addresses of those who post messages to our bulletin board, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages visitors access or visit, user-specific information on what pages visitors access or visit, information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations, and the names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers of visitors who use our store.

What we do with it:

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor, and used to notify consumers about updates to our Web site. It is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes, nor shared with other users of our site or made publicly available except where explicitly noted.

Information provided to us for the purpose of processing orders in our shop (with the exception of credit card information) will be passed on to our dispatching partner (currently Intense Records). Their privacy policy can be read here.

Credit card information provided to us for the purposes of processing orders in our shop is sent, by the visitor, directly to HSBC Clear Commerce, and is retained during processing and settlement only.

If you purchase tickets from us, your name will be passed on to the promoters of event for the purpose of facilitating entry to the event.

The information we collect is disclosed when legally required to do so, at the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation, to verify or enforce compliance with the policies governing our Web site and applicable laws or to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our Web site.

If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by opting out from emails in your user profile.

If you supply us with your postal address or telephone number on-line you will only receive the information for which you provided us your address. The address and telephone information provided during registration is for use with our online shop, and will be treated as if you had supplied it for this purpose only.

Accessing information held about you:

Consumers can access and change much of the information we store by visiting us at http://www.dogsonacid.com/usercp.php .

Upon request we provide site visitors with access to any requested information that we maintain about them, such as unique identifier information (e.g., customer number), transaction information (e.g., dates on which customers made purchases, amounts and types of purchases) or contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number). We do not store passwords in a recoverable fashion and so cannot retrieve these.

Consumers can have information about them corrected by sending us e-mail at the above address, or writing to us at the above address. We will require proof of identity before disclosing or ammending any information.

With respect to Ad Servers:

We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.

With respect to cookies:

We use cookies to store visitors preferences, record session information, such as items that consumers add to their shopping cart, to record past activity at a site in order to provide better service when visitors return to our site, to ensure that visitors are not repeatedly sent the same banner ads, to customize Web page content based on visitors' browser type or other information that the visitor sends, and to log-in users automatically to our forums when they return.

With respect to security:

When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial information, we redirect visitors to a secure server and will notify visitors through a pop-up screen on our site, We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site. We do not retain credit card numbers and they are not transmitted to our web site or to our staff at any time.
