Since the Urban Art Forms Festival is about a week away, we wanted to chat with DJ Cable, the winner of the 2010 DOA/UAF DJ Competition. We break down how he got into DJing, his accolades, thoughts on his set for the festival and what to expect from the future from him!

DOGS ON ACID AND ZARDONIC PRESENT RETALIATION
We here at DOA love to see producers who use our forums get their feet planted firmly within the scene, and a producer like Zardonic is one such story. He's put in work, and put out a lot of material, and its paid off in terms of DnB luminaries like AK1200, Dieselboy, Dylan, Counterstrike and others responding positively to his brand of Drum & Bass. We go over all of this, as well as get a pretty intriguing mix from the Venezuelan.

WAXWORKS AT HIDDEN (14 MAY 2010)
Waxworks has a HEAVY night going down at Hidden on the 14th; the bill features selectors like Xample, Heist, DC Breaks going B2B with Metrik, Crystal Clear, Mutated Forms and plenty more in the venue! They not only threw a mix from Grafix out, they also hooked up a competition - check it out!

BASHER PRESENTS PROXIMITY RECORDINGS
When we spoke to Basher back in November 2009, we had no idea he was working on his own label, but with the influx of quality tunes from exciting producers, he started his own imprint, Proximity Recordings, which has released its first release today, 26 April 2010.
