Alongside his DJ Schedule and projects with The Militia, Brighton's DJ Friction has been concentrating a lot more on the studio as of late. 'Lightspeed' will see a release on Advanced Recordings as part of a 4 track Friction EP in a few months. As well as this some remixes are being completed including Raidens 'Fallin' and Mampi Swift's 'Hi Tek' among others so keep an eye out for those.

Doing the rounds across the world on dubplate is Dom & Rolands remix of 'Final judgement', originally co produced with Nu Balance and is due for relase as part of TOV's Ten year celebrations with a Friction US tour confirmed from April 15th - 28th to run in conjunction with Hardware.

Transparent Recordings
After the sucess of Raidens 'Cenobyte EP', Transparent Recordings continues with the 'Trans-Global' series. This will feature various artists including 'The Miltia, Concord Dawn, Fission, Rascal & Klone, Black Sun Empire and Ill Skillz to name a few. Releases will be as 12" with the first being 'Flip The Script' by The Militia and 'Vandalism' by Puerto Rico's 'Fission' released end of April.

The Militia
Friction, Stakka, Skinny and K-Tee aka 'The Militia' have made a huge impact with their debut releases. Their debut EP on Charge Recordings which features 'Electrolux' is still flying off the shelves in record stores everywhere. To follow that you expect 'Paranoia', forthcoming on Renegade Hardware and 'Flip the Script' on Transparent Recordings with more in the pipeline. Militia Recordings begins in April with Amnesia and Uncooked due for release on 12". Keep your ears peeled for a tearing VIP of Brainwash which was the first relase on Stakka's Cargo imprint back in January doing the rounds at the moment on dubplate.
