one day D-Bridge was in town chilling at Violence studios with me and Gridlok and Break & Silent Witness came by cause they were in town as well. on a whim, we all went in and made a tune. me and Gridlok are adding final touches and it will be ready to be heard soon.

What was the hardest challenge you had with setting up Violence and making it a successful operation?

Big up to the whole Violence crew for all the quality releases btw, definitely one of my top 5 labels!

Basscon was good times. I won't talk about the sound. The vibe was great. Over the course my time there it felt like the WMC of SoCal jammed into 24 hours.

my favorite spot to play in the US is Los Angeles, it's just so proper there. as far as clubs go, the booth and sound at 1015 Folsom in San Francisco is excellent.

best show i've played in the US? i really can't answer that, i've played so many and there's not one that sticks out as the best.

alot of the samples I use come from jazz or jazz/rock fusion records from the early 70s. but I think some of my music is subconsciously influenced by it because I spent so much time collecting and listening to it.

Goldie and Klute

dance music is a part of Europe's culture. in America, everything centers around rock and hip hop. also in Europe you tend to not have trainspotters hanging over you as you DJ..people are there to dance and have a good time.

i'm no good at naming favorite anything but the first tune on my top ten right now would be Goldie "Invisible" off his upcoming album. it brings back the vibe that I miss in D&B.
