I think so. I at least read that there are a number of ghetto house staples who have been producing this stuff.

I agree with 2turntables, certain ones get annoying, but a few are great as standalone tracks.

I kinda see this genre being big in the future if more tunes come out that are great by themselves.

Sounds like speed up Miami Bass, Ghettotech, Booty House etc

Sort of stuff DJ Funk and DJ Assult play but without the bass or general dancefloor vibe.
