Chicago footwork
Saw this on Bleep: Bangs & Works Vol. 1
Definitely not for everyone, but the driving bass hooked me. Then I scoped some footwork battles on YouTube. Shit's keen. (turn up your bass) |

Interesting. So is this something that came out of ghetto house or something. When I first heard all that chopped up stuff and subbass in the video I was like...they're dancing to jungle?

I agree with 2turntables, certain ones get annoying, but a few are great as standalone tracks.
Like this for example: I kinda see this genre being big in the future if more tunes come out that are great by themselves. |

Not a fan!
Sounds like speed up Miami Bass, Ghettotech, Booty House etc Sort of stuff DJ Funk and DJ Assult play but without the bass or general dancefloor vibe. Jazz
