and the point raised in the original text should not be easily dismissed either imo, trolling or not.

But I think the irony is (like with all best trolling perhaps) that what she's saying is basically true and we're just angry about how it's being presented. I don't doubt her experiences at all - tall and blond seems enough for a lot of women. (Some say women don't actually perceive facial beauty in anywhere near as much detail as men do - some evolutionary reason - but I've noticed very few women can tell the difference between a "7" and a "10" - in crude blokey terms. Women don't prioritise facial beauty in partners/infatuations anywhere near as much as men do.)

tbh I don't mind arrogance over physical beauty, I think more people should have better self esteem over how they look. being deluded is never a good thing, but being able to appreciate your own body and looks is a great thing to have. it makes a nice contrast to the media telling women they need their products to feel beautiful about themselves. read the article and I can't remember if it said anything on it but maybe she just possesses magnetism, charm and many other good traits that other people find attractive. could be shes just not very self aware and became confused thinking it was her looks that got her the things she desired. i've seen it work in reverse, a girl will put herself down in her looks thinking men see something wrong or unattractive in their appearance where it was actually a case where their personality was pushing people away. Interesting what you say about how women prioritise beauty. Not something I have considered really. What I do know is that a lot of the time when a woman walks down the street or goes to a bar/club, whatever, she dresses in a way that is designed to impress women as much if not more than men, so I can't deny that at some level what she is saying has some value. But again, and as you have already pointed out, it's not the insight, it's how the information was presented. Edit: And it was presented as "Oh life is so tough when you are as incredibly beautiful as I am." DIE.
