ORDERING PROBLEMS
1. I can't get to the secure checkout page.
You may have to call us to place your order; please call Sacha if none of the following solutions work for you. The telephone number is on the contact page.***
Virtually all of these problems occur only with Internet Explorer 5 or below. One easy solution is to use a different web browser such as Mozilla.
If you are using Internet Explorer 5 then it may be worth reading this article and trying the solution in it: article on Microsoft site. Please note that Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 is old, and no longer supported by Microsoft. It contains many flaws which leave you open to hackers and other nasty things - the minimum recommended version is 5.5. You can obtain Internet Explorer 5.5 and 6.0 as well as many fixes to protect yourself from hackers here: Windows Update (this is an official Microsoft page). Internet Explorer 5.01 Service Pack 2 is available here: Internet Explorer 5.01 Service Pack 2. (it is not on Windows Update because it's not new enough...).
Please note that our checkout page is secure, and our server employs strong (128bit) encryption to protect your credit card details in transit to and from our web server. You can verify this by clicking on the "padlock" symbol in the lower right hand corner of the browser window. Old versions of IE (pre 5.5 - for example, the one which comes with Windows 98) should be updated for 128bit encryption. 2. I clicked on checkout and everything has disappeared from my basket!
You probably waited for too long before clicking on checkout. Your session may expire and the contents of your basket be returned to stock if you spend more than half an hour without browsing to another page on the site.
3. Even though I log in, the site does not remember my details. or
Even though I add products to the basket, it tells me my basket is empty. or
No matter how many products I add it always says I only have 1.
You probably have cookies disabled in your browser. This site will not function without cookies. We use cookies as a way of identifying your shopping basket as you browse through our pages, and not for storing any other information about you.

4. The currency symbol next to the prices appears as a question mark (?)

5. When I went to check out, I got the message "Sorry, there are no shipping options available to you from '[your country]'"
If there are no shipping options available, then we do not ship to your country. Sorry.
POLICIES
What are the terms and conditions of sale?
1. LIABILITY : Dogs On Acid Ltd accepts no responsibility for fraudulent credit card transactions that may occur as a result of credit card details being placed on the internet.
2. CONTACT DETAILS : Our contact details can be found on the contact page.
3. YOUR ORDER : We make every effort to ensure the goods we supply are of the highest quality, reach you in original/good condition, and are delivered promptly as stated on our website. Once we have received your order, your item will be shipped promptly if it is in stock. You will be notified by email when it has shipped. For UK deliveries, your goods should arrive within 28 days from the date of shipping. For all other items, we are at the mercy of the postal service you have chosen, but in any case it should take no more than 28 days for your

PURCHASING FROM US : By submitting your order, you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying said goods (including passing your personal details onto couriers & other subcontractors). Personal details can be removed from our database by editing your user details. No property or title of the goods shall pass from Dogs On Acid Ltd to the customer until payment has been received in full.
5. AVAILABILITY OF GOODS : All orders and special offers are subject to availability. We stock 100's of items and it is very difficult to keep every item in stock at all times. We will always inform you if an item is not in stock at the time when you place your order.
6. CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS : Credit, debit & charge cards are all accepted but we reserve the right to deliver only to the cardholders billing address. If you are requesting an alternative delivery address please state this on your order, along with your card registered address. You may be asked to provide us with proof of your address at anytime, a fax of each side of your card and a signed statement auothorising the transaction. If you refuse to provide us with this evidence, your order will be cancelled. This is to prevent credit card fraud. If you are using a credit card not belonging to yourself, you must give the cardholder's full name and address & tel no. We will then contact the cardholder to obtain approval. Use of stolen credit cards will result in the appropriate police/authority being notified and we do take court action in all cases.
7. BANKERS DRAFTS, BUILDING SOCIETY CHEQUES, POSTAL ORDERS & DIRECT MONEY TRANSFERS : The above payment methods are not currently accepted by Dogs On Acid Ltd.
8. SHIPPING : All orders are shipped in appropriate strong packaging and with an appropriate method. We advise you to ensure somebody be present at the delivery address since all items require a signature upon delivery. As soon as the goods are delivered and signed for they become your responsibility.
9. SHIPPING TIMES : All delivery dates given are only estimates. We are not responsible for any consequential losses you may suffer if we do not deliver on time for whatever reason.
10. SHIPPING CHARGES : Will be calculated by our shopping basket automatically for online orders. If your order is returned to us undelivered due to circumstances beyond our control you will be held responsible for all re-shipping costs.
11. UK CUSTOMERS : If your goods do not arrive within 14 working days please call +44(0)1923857657 or e-mail shop@dogsonacid.com to confirm your order has been shipped and that we have your correct delivery address details. Normal delivery time after dispatch is approximately 1 to 7 days.
12. OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS : If your goods do not arrive within 28 days of dispatch first contact us to confirm that your order has been shipped and that we have your correct delivery details. We can not investigate lost or missing parcels until 28 days have elapsed.
13. IMPORT DUTY & TAXES : It is your responsibility as the customer to pay all applicable customs fees and taxes for your country. If you refuse to pay these charges then your order may be abandoned and you will lose your goods as well as your money. These taxes are only applicable for non UK & non European union countries. We may refuse to take an order if, in the circumstances, we feel you have given us false or mis-leading information which ,could/will be deemed as a commercial threat to Dogs On Acid Ltd. We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions at any time without prior notification. We do not distribute customer details or e-mail addresses to third parties. Marketing e-mails are only sent to consenting mailing list subscribers and your details can be removed at any time. The views and opinions of Dogs On Acid Ltdare not to be taken necessarily as fact. Any contract between us and you shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over the dispute. All dealings, correspondence and contracts between us shall be made or conducted in the English language.
