There's good and bad in all subgenres of dnb.

Good jump-up (recent):

Clipz - Ready For Love Remix
Humanoid - Tibetan Mist
Total Science - Defcom 69
Tactile - The Mist

If you go back a few years you'll find heaps of heavy jump-up also...Zinc, Total Science, a few Brockie tunes, some Aphrodite, Jonny L, etc etc etc.

Shut the fuck up and go away and learn something.

Or maybe if you dig a bit deeper you'll find music that you like and then have no need to listen to music you don't

True though that there's plenty of lowest common denominator dnb around...90% of stuff by Clipz, Hazzard, G Dub, etc. Personally I just avoid it.

Some of it's pretty good. Fresh, Pendulum, Sub Focus are obviously at the top of the Jump-up game right now. Dillinja always does it good. S.M.O.K.E., Nero, Zen, Total Science, etc. usually bring the sounds pretty well. Some of it's pretty shit, of course (you know what I'm talking about).

Same with the dark sounds. Tech Itch tunes are usually on top, even though sometimes his stuff (and related things) can get a little boring. But, there's a ton of real shitty ones floating around (amen + distorted reese + vocal sample bits).
