BBK/PENDULUM Joint Press Statement (08/12/06)

BreakBeat Kaos and Pendulum are pleased to announce that they have reached an amicable resolution of the dispute between them which first arose over one year ago.

Pendulum would like to take this opportunity to clarify that they are hugely appreciative of BreakBeat Kaos’ efforts surrounding their formative years and especially the release of their debut album ‘Hold Your Colour’ which has now sold in excess of 100,000 units world-wide. Likewise, BreakBeat Kaos and its directors Dan Stein (DJ Fresh) and Adam Fenton (Adam F) remain unwavering in their view of Pendulum as a huge creative talent. As a result, whilst Pendulum will shortly be signing a new record deal and releasing new product in Spring/Summer 2007, they will be continuing to work in conjunction with BreakBeat Kaos on their existing catalogue and their eagerly anticipated next single.

Pendulum will finally be releasing the long-awaited ‘Blood Sugar’ b/w ‘Axle Grinder’ on BreakBeat Kaos in January 2007 along with a special edition ‘Hold Your Colour’ CD which will include the above mentioned bonus tracks as well as new/additional artwork. As part of the promotion for the single: Pendulum will be DJing at the forthcoming BreakBeat Kaos label night at Fabric on January 19th 2007.
