 Pendulum.......... NEW found Arrogance !.
This is a response to the the new Pendulum : Now with 80% more Arrogance ! .
After reading the recent forum reply, in regards to the argument of them "Selling out", you can be sure i will be writing ALL Pendulum material off my list.
Coming from a fellow Australian, you guys really should take a good look at yourself, firstly you establish yourself as "producers", via which scene ? ............ hmmm well i will be
danmed!......... it was the FCKING DNB scene !, and you have the absolute arrogance *or is it just plain stupidity*, to go bag out the VERY scene which took you away from drinking XXXX, smoking dope, getting wired on weekends, and doing shit all with your lives over in Western Australia.
You blame "Led Zeppelin" and whatever other array of rubbish 70's rock groups you CHOOSE to be influenced by as the reason for your new found shit-as-all-hell hybrid of something vaguly resembling rock, and something vaguly resembling DNB!.
Take a moment to remember WHO THE PEOPLE ARE! that BROUGHT YOUR FREAKING TUNES to BEGIN WITH!..
You ARE SOLD OUT !, evidence of SOLD OUT! is not weather you are being pressured to write this or that, for monetary gain or satisfaction of the labels.......
SELLING OUT......... is then you believe yourself to be so special as to SHIT OVER and try to minimize the creative and artistic integrity and VIABLE mass appeal of the VERY GENRE and PEOPLE! passionate about the genre , that brought YOUR TUNES!
And now you have the audacity to turn around and say
"Pendulum was never a DNB Project" You got to be bloody kidding me ?
Where if you were not a DNB Project, then you sure as hell did a fantastic job being charlatan's !
My point is, go ahead and leave the people who made you,
YES THEY MADE YOU!, if they did not BUY your bloody tunes you would be NO ONE !....... FULL STOP........
Go ahead and seek your "mass" appeal, and meanwhile say goodbye to any support should your venture fail miserably !.
Secondly ! Many will take your arrogonace about the DNB scene as a absolute challenge, and there will come one who will rise above, as there always is......... and prove that this genre is still the most fertile, cutting edge and extremly creative, passionate and continually evolving forms of music
yet to be witnessed.
Mark these words!, when you are a watered down wanna-be-mass-appeal pathetic rock hybrid, a underground star who is probably germinating right now, will bite your ass!, and show you how stupid and arrogant you lot were for dis'n this scene and its culture !
