As for the trailer, it looks kinda cool, but the CG faced blue things are moderately ghey.

Christ, I hate you small minded fools for continuing to hate on them--it's the reason dnB is in such a sorry state today, you reductive-ass idiots. You don't like their "advanced" version of DnB? Go work that hard to make your own. Go blow dnB out in another direction, make it into your own new thing, do something ANYTHING to advance the sound.

Or, you know, go make the 50 millionth deep drumfunk track and shove it up your ass with the rest.

Hmm, looks impressive but a little gay, like a cross between the smurfs and Ja Ja Binks.

1) Went into watching this trailer with an open mind.
2) The first half of the trailer looked really interesting.
3) The blue things look like something out of Finding Nemo.
4) Disappointed, looks pretty shit.

i think we are just conditioned to expecting shit when we see this much CG....

I really hope JC comes through with the quality storytelling, and proves everybody wrong. I think it looks cool enough kick ass if the plot holds up it's end of the bargain.....nowhatimsayin?

But I will say right here, right now....James Cameron SHOULD HAVE MADE BATTLE ANGEL ALITA HIS CINEMA COMEBACK.

Zinga just text me and told me "the preview is sick in 3-D @ the imax, the trailer doesn't do it justice". I'd wait before writing this one off. I'll let him try and describe it, its not your average 3D apparently.

Kinda disappointed with the preview. He seemed to do a fairly good job covering the technological downfalls - namely dodgy near-camera effects and blurriness/flickering in the peripheral vision - with use of colour and loads of camera movement but we were led to expect something revolutionary from the 3D and it wasn't there for me. Oh, and the movie does seem like it was for twelve year olds. It felt like a kids film and Cameron's action flicks are meant to be for grown-ups.
