Sounds perfect - they take out a few bears and salmon and swiftly get flattened in return

Anyway you never know, it might be a secret new "grain deployment missile" being secretly developed to feed the hungry people from the air...

Hardly looks cutting edge, pretty sure we had better tools then that in the 60s.

Shit story, and they more then likely used Master Card.

The missile cost them about US$850 million in total.

The money - North Koreea has a huge counterfeiting operation, of money, drugs, and cigarettes. They also get the money by basically starving their population. Oh, and China.

No he didn't it says he spent 40 million. I mean that's a lot, but 850 million IS A LOT of money. You realize 1 F-22 cost about 150 million, so they could have literally bought a fleet of F-22s. This just makes no sense, esp for a country that isn't taxing it's entire population or exporting vast amounts of resources. It's almost as if they dropped down their entire saving on 1 rocket lol.

3/4 of a bil isn't the kind of money it used to be (US dollars as well) and yeah, they probably did drop their entire budget on it, at least until the next mad idea. They are blatantly using this as a negotiating card, as they always do. It's all a big gamble with them, all the time. When they want to talk, they pull stunts like this. By the way, they do tax the shit out of their population (and ration food and electric etc.). It’s as if they are constantly at war. They recently got a shit load of cash from mobile contracts from some South Korean firm.

lol at DPRK having the option of buying a fleet of F-22's.

Isn't it all relative? I mean, they didn't just pop down the shops and buy a missile. NK is a planned economy with a huge workforce that can be quickly mobilised and due to the secrecy of the regime we don't really have reliable info on how they do all of this (i.e. forced labour). The fact that South Korea have seemingly come up with the figure of $850m isn't really credible either, anything they say about the North is linked in with an agenda, its only natural.

They simply let destitute citizens die and focus on military power. The food aid has never been given to poverty stricken people in North Korea. It's converted into money to fuel military objectives.

People who have escaped NK reported that there are dead bodies laying in the streets and the poverty is inhumane.

How do you help a government that won't help it's citizens? It's heartbreaking.
