    *****************************************************

    The Images directory contains:

    Photos of various Wavestation models.

    *****************************************************

    The MIDI Patches directory contains:

Patches for various Wavestation models in MIDI format which may be loaded using Cubase, Sonar, or another MIDI sequencer.

    *****************************************************

    The Software directory contains:

Programs for editing the settings in your Korg Wavestation. I have used them briefly, but admittedly have spent most of my wavestation time in Emagic SoundDiver.

SDLib101 - sysex utility for pc
ssx32 - sysex utility for the pc
Sysex97 - sysex utility for pc
syx300 - sysex utility for pc
syxlibed - sysex utility for pc
wavest32 - wavestation utility for pc
ws24 - wavestation utility for pc
wsedit - wavestation utility for pc
ws editor - wavestation utility for pc
wsysex - wavestation utility for pc
midioxse - sysex utility for pc
sysex util.hqx - sysex utility for Macintosh OS9
sysexlibrarian_macosx.dmg - sysex utility for Macintosh OSX
    SysEx480.hqx.sit - sysex utility for Macintosh OS9
    ws-cat-1.0.1.sit.hqx - wavestation utility of Macintosh OS9
Freeloader - sysex utility from Alesis

Adobe Acrobat Readers for Macintosh OS9, Macintosh OSX, and Microsoft Windows XP.

Macintosh software has been Stuffed or BinHexed for OS9 or is in a DMG file for OSX. To use, first copy to your hard disk, then unstuff/unbinhex using Stuffit Expander (free from www.stuffit.com). DMG files are disk image files and should load in OSX by double-clicking. Sorry, but these extra steps were necessary for me in order to duplicate these discs using my PC -- otherwise, the files get "hosed" by Windows XP.

    *****************************************************

    The Unisyn bank directory contains:

A bank of wavestation programs from www.studio-central.com

    *****************************************************

    The Wavestation_sysex directory contains:

176 sysex files containing programs for the Korg Wavestation!
Also a directory with documentation about these patches that will eventually be better organized into some kind of database.

    *****************************************************

    The root directory contains:

Wavestation.lib = huge SoundDiver library with over 11,000 patches and performances for the Korg Wavestation family. This file was built on the pc but should work on a Macintosh. I highly recommend Emagic SoundDiver to anyone using Macintosh OSX or PC; or, if you cannot find it thanks to Apple's takeover of Emagic (and subsequent zapping of the PC line), SoundQuest's MIDIQuest.

I just got an SR (rack version) and it is effin awesome...I must warn you it is a bitch to program at first...but in two short days I pretty much have the Patch and performance pages memorized...They do make editorsm but I havn't tried one out yet...which btw, I found a new love in SONAR...I loved the program before for Audio, but now that I have an actual MIDI device to control with it

Very good for Pads, I am still having some issues with lead sounds, but again...I have only owned for a few days...

I payed under $100 dollars for it because the guy thought it was just a sound moduale...Thank god he knew nothing about synthisis.

    @king:
Thank you for taking the time during the cup...these files mean even more to me now:biggrin:

i have been looking for good pad synths lately... i guess you can get a pretty wide range of different pads from this one?

gotta love when people sell good stuff for almost nothing:bgrin:[IMG] ...you just have to be quick snatching it..

The way it is structured is like so:

In PERF mode you can play one Performance.
1 performence is composed of 1 to 8 patches
1 patch has up to 4 FULLY adjustible OSC's
1 OSC has over 250 waveforms to chose from, 1 filter (lp only:blue:smile: 1 AMP envelope, 2 routible LFO's, and 2 routible Mod Env.

also each parameter can be altered real time via CC by two external seperate control sources

    it is also multi timbrel
in MULTI mode you can have up to 16 performances (each responds to their own MIDI channel)...

A shit pot of effects, with only 2 slots availible, but there are very creative routing possibilities that would take me forever to laydown here...

I am just starting to scratch the surface on vector synthisis and wave seq...hopfuly have my head round that this weekend

so if one performance have 8 sounds, and you can have 16 performances... do you know if its possible to set each performance to have the same midi channel for some supermegaultra thick pads at the press of a key?

I got a *mint* Soundcsraft F1 for £80 off a woman on ebay. Husband had bought it when going through a "I want to be a I want to be a DJ phase" (her words) and never used it.

    Boh:smil:

I don't think so...but honestly I don't know yet...Almost done with the "player's guide" walk through, so I will let you know...You could always resample and build it that way...
