I need some recommendations from the dogs. We did Lounge on the Farm last year and got a muthafucking Tipi which was PIMP for a smaller, more intimate endeavour but I also did Global Gathering in 2010 so I'm fully aware of the contast between immense and piss poor festivals...need to ditch the shit ones.

Boomtown does look good but I doubt that will happen!

With there being no Glastonbury this year we are heading to SunceBeat in Croatia for a soulful house weekender with some chilling time either side in July. It is put on by the same people as the Southport weekender so you know the crowd and music will be on point.

I wouldn't class it as a festival as we are staying in apartments but it will be just as messy:smashed:

Hopefully hitting the Bangface weekender in September

I would love to hit sun and bass but something tells me 2/3 days of DnB would proper do my head in especially if there were hours of minimal.

I am confident the vibes are wicked but I can't seem to listen to new DnB or dubstep for prolonged periods of time. Just starts to grate on the ears........

yeeeeeah boy! wah blo bruvva ting? Yeah Glade may have to be done. Need a few more though. possibly one abroad.

S&B vibe is something you wont probably find anywhere else. It's so close and intimate everyone ends up knowing each other and it feels so personal. NOBODY is there for attitude it is just pure VIBES and tunes. :slayer:

    Supersonic & TUSK.
Not really befitting with anything else put up there.
Wanted to do Roadburn but couldn't happen, i'd like to find something that is small and doesn't involve being smelly and sleeping in tents.

Pitchfork website helped do a festival in France last year, forget what it was called but hoping they do something similiar again. La Primavera would be sweet but i'd want to do the full thing and that just silly price in Barcelona.

Doing Bloc - ridiculously excited about the lineup.

Want to do Sonar but a lot of mates are away at that time so might wait a year so we can get a crew together.

Sun and Bass and Outlook would definitely have to be done but I have signed up for exams at the end of September for at least a few years so that is off the cards indefinitely, sadly

Yup, got my first set of exams coming up in April. Slightly jarring coming to the realisation that I am 25 and have just signed up for at least another 4 years of exams. I mean I knew what I was signing up for, it's just hitting home a bit more now.

Oh well, the work is enjoyable at least! :teeth:

Doing boom festival in Portugal this year :slayer:

If any UK heads want a wicked, fairly small psytrance festival, well recommend waveform or sunrise. Fairly small, about 3000, but a wicked friendly vibe going on. Gave me and mrs the urge to spread our wings a bit and try boom this year.

Like one of the other posters, went to global the year before, 1st festy in about 10 years and fukin hated it. Made me never want to go to a festival again, Was fights there and everything, full of kunts. Thas why we chose a nice little psytrance one last year and totally different ball game, can't get enough of it now :spliff:

    Pensions or insurance?

Pretty insane schedule around the exam period I've seen people do, but hey at least you get a day off every week or 2 to study with!

Friend just qualified now, she's 28, started working at the firm directly out of university at 22 and had a load of exemptions.

What I mean is, good luck

Life Insurance, at a consultancy though, not industry.

 Savage. Some guys on my intake have 8 exemptions, I don't have any :teef:

It definitely can be done sooner, I know a guy who did it in 3.5 years without any exemptions, taking exams at a reasonable rate. My aim is 4 years but we'll see what happens I guess :teeth:
