I've had it since it came out and only used it a handful of times. It's in pristine nick and has the original box etc with it. It's a lovely thing, but I rarely get to use it and the way I work, I think I should really stick to in-the-box stuff.

Figured I'd stick it up here before I put it on eBay.

    PM with sensible offers please.

I haven't put much though to it tbh. Probs wouldn't settle for less than 350.

If you put a black sun empire sticker on it you could easily ask 400.

Sorry mate, had a change of heart and decided to hang onto it for now! However, I may soon change my mind again lol, as I'm toying with the idea of new monitors. I will let you know if I do!

That's the kind of thing you're supposed to hold on to in a cupboard in the garage until your kids are old enough to discover it. Never sell an instrument unless you have an actual surplus of them.

yeah i get that, though it's more about what's actually useful to me. i'm all in the box these days. keeping it for now though anyway - gonna bring it out for a jam next week at my mate's studio. he's all hardware - just rack units and synths and a fuck off mixer. should be fun.

I don't know the minilogue, but does it have presets? You should just make a bank of presets away from the computer then sample them all.

That's pretty much how I've used it. It does have presets - I made some pretty decent ones actually... All the arps and stuff in that tune I posted yesterday came out of it.

Time off work incoming so will be getting some more quality time with it, which is rare.

Just make a sample pack of it and tidy it away somewhere. Dig it out when you think you're missing out on certain sounds that you know it can do.

with things like this it's often best to work on it on its own rather than midi'ing it up to a DAW and dealing with patches and latency etc etc etc.

It's a funny one really, cos what it does best is things like chords, arps, synth horns and general floaty melodic shit, and all those things are much better when you play them straight on the synth rather than pitching samples. That's why I end up using the TAL Juno emulation more instead.

100% agreed. It's a pain in the arse doing MIDI and stuff, and it'll never behave like a plugin anyway. I usually just record straight in and multitrack it with new sounds.
