My buddy's girl (she's a bitch I say this with much respect) saw some girl being hit pushed around. Goes off on the dudes. No joke they stop and the girl gets up and they beat down my buddy. Lol like she joined in with her attackers. :ana:

Thing is mate, you're calling it social justice, like it's some big thing, but to most of us, what you're talking about is just 'not being an arsehole'. Who'd be able to look themselves in the eye if you saw some little dude getting a gay bashing and didn't step in? Or let three wankers get on some poor woman's case without getting a few 'fuck offs' in there?

Social justice is something that has a totally different cadence and set of associations.

What about the small straight guy getting beat up by a pack of gays? Can I walk away from that one, or do I put the boot in on him as he said something inflammatory to deserve it

obviously the answer is offer to take his place while having a wank.

I don't really think about social justice, I think I possibly am oversensitive to what I perceive to be a lack of fairness but that is rooted in not wanting to be treated unfairly myself

If find if I don't spend my time on the fringes of the internet it doesn't come up all that often. Not that that means everything is fair, obvs.

Flogging an unveiled woman on the streets of Saudi Arabia is social justice – it's all dependent on your definition of justice.

So I'd be wary of anyone doing things in the name of 'justice'. It makes you sound like The Punisher.

that's not true I don't think, if I were single as a middle class, sort of blonde, white male, life would be pretty sweet, having seen some of the experiences my wife has had at work has shown me that there is still some pretty serious unfairness out there. I do worry for my daughter based on that

I should have left a disclaimer....unless you're a foreigner, then you cant even cough in an elevator without gettin the ol "get out of china"

I remember getting into an argument about smoking in the bar "can you put that out, would you do this in your country", granted on the other side of him was a chinese guy smoking, and behind us were half the bar of chinese smoking. :smashed:

Just the other day I heard someone say under their breath "yea, he looks like a Buffington Sinclair". I decided to be non confrontational and just go home and eat Mom's potroast and watch Scarface.

that's true but then neither are any of the topics that come up here. And, it's really just DOA. I have a mate who is a hardcore Brexiteer, he and I have chatted about it on Facebook, didn't call him a nazi once.

We ride motorcycles together frequently (not a euphemism), virtually never comes up.

Yes, especially at work and it does me no favours, organisational justice is a really interesting subject.
Most people are insensitive towards other peoples problems and regard them as non issues based on thier own personal opinions/experiences.
Self centred people are a real problem in today's society.
