    Come on Guys.
A New producer just wants a bit of help.

I know you are all only Joking.

I had some great advice from Jack Smooth last year. To do with Sub bass levels and EQ.
he helped me out big time.

There are rules to how long a sample you can use without permission but basically no one has ever asked for permission to sample a beat to make dnb as far as I know. Find the best quality recording of the song you can and sample away. If your tune gets a release and is going to be on the radio 1 A play list etc then you can always apply for permission from the label that owns the rights.....but I would worry about making the tune first and come to that bit later.

Poison clan sampled the beat from Cybotron "Clear". (Juan Atkins). You can hear the trippy beep sound filtered out in the mix.
    Still sounds good these days.

novice producers don't get sued for sampling things.

If it's not nailed down, steal it imo.

We are talking about a Second generation sample made with a TR 808 machine from the 80`s
She just needs to buy the song in WAV format and sample away.

Or just use any DAW and make your own 808 drum loop with any number of free 808 sample packs.

some harsh replies in here, looking at the o/p's other posts I can see she is using FL Studio. Best place to start is watch some tutorials on putting your own beats together in FL studio and use the 808 samples in this thread.

Or, in an audio editor such as Audacity you can record straight from youtube the cybotron link posted above. Cut this into smaller loop breaks, open in a sampler on fl studio and right click on the little time knob under where it says time stretching and set that to 1 bar. Get your loop in there and play about with how that works, if you cut it nicely enough in the audio editor it should all be nicely on time and you can play around layering samples over the top, etc

They are just simple methods but keep at it and keep watching youtube tutorials, follow them step by step pausing them if you have to and you will soon pick things up. FL studio is a good DAW to learn on as it is quite powerful and will stand you in good stead if you wanna switch to another DAW at some point. Don't be put off by asking stupid questions when you are just starting out but be prepared to have some stupid responses as well as help tbh

0.5 seconds. One shots, cycles, stabs, plosives, ohs and ahs. Anything more than that can be claimed upon if it's under copyright.

Was fuckin around wanted to hear the tune. Idk if this is what you want but its what i did.

Cut the intro. Took first bit warped it to dnb tempo and replicated the drum pattern. Left the midi, recorded the loop just cause, and saved it.

If you want the drum pattern that should help at least. And you can get to cutting the track up too if u wish. The orig sample tho.
