    Easy,

Has anyone got this clap? It's used in most trap tunes, I hear it everywhere but can't seem a decent sample of it.
I wanna try and do some cross genre stuff but I haven't got that many trap samples tbh, I've tried layering a 808 clav with a clap and got close to it, but not the full biscuit man...

Apologies for the awful sample too, just used a random trap tune with the clap in it..

    Cheers!

Isn't this a grime track?anyway, the trap clap is every single percussion sound on the 808 being triggered at once, but they are slightly flammed against one another.just layer up the rim, clav, snare, clap and closed hi hat and play around with pushing them forwards and backwards using the nudge feature in your DAW.if you wanna sample it in its original form its likely that it either came from an old 3 6 Mafia record or a Miami Bass tune.3 6 Mafia are likely the most relevant origin point for Trap and its archetype sounds

If you want the more modern shrill version that does the rounds now, its the same thing eq'd and clipped to death

Yea my guess 909 or 808 clap layered with snare and snare and maybe white noise.
